We worked as an on site marketing consultant; making growth recommendations to include an integrated two-year marketing plan. After clarifying the two year business objectives for the conference and event centre, we were able to research the potential growth areas for the business.

After embedding ourselves into the business for 8 weeks, we were able to experience how the business operated and where the opportunities for growth were and identify the two key target audiences:

A wide mix of business types including pharmaceutical, professional services, and retail within a 20-mile radius of Hemmingford Abbots.

Members of the local community or not for profit organisations who wished to hold a private events or functions.

We talked to all the members of staff, including the pro shop staff, which is adjoined to the conferencing centre to get a understanding of the business. This allowed us to make informed recommendations for the businesses, proposing realistic business and marketing goals as well as a tactical two-year marketing plan.

The marketing plan was extremely well received by the owners of the business. They have started with the implementation of the marketing plan for the next two years and are already experiencing an increase in turnover and bookings.
